Hi Alessia. I was looking through the mutliple submissions in the Let's Draw Sherlock challenge and I must say this was the only one that touched me in unspeakable depth. The other entries were clever and amusing but most of them were amateurs. Yours, however, was on a different level. Since the season 2 finale left us viewers on a sad note, your picture conveys the perfect emotions that would be expressed if Sherlock had indeed come back into the arms of his friends and family.

I like the facial expressions of Molly, Mrs Hudson and Lestrade. Most importantly, I like the quiet emotions seen on Watson's face.

You did a very good job on this one. Even though it was based on another artwork, I find it very original and creative. Only a true fan could've done something like this.

Just one question: Is that Irene Adler behind Mrs Hudson?

On the technical side, I think the colors and lighting on this piece are well-balanced and stays true to the theme. I just think the part where Sherlock's violin case is cut off could be re-done but other than that it's a masterpiece.

I thank you for putting your heart and soul into this one. I just wish I could do something as beautiful as this.
