What I love about this is how simple the idea is yet how much of an impact it makes. The drawing is absolutely incredible. You manage to sum up alot of what happens in a fairly complex story line in only five pictues that, in themseles are really beautiful and exceedingly well drawn. However, the only thing that I would say is that I think you might have put in a little too much light variation in the third picture, as a singular drawing it does look very effective but because there is quite a lot of light variation in the other pictures naturally, it may be a little too much.
Overall, I think that this is really amazing, well done.
wow! I love your pictures of each volume!Hand-painted is one of my favorite ways at art!Could you please let me to reproduce them to another website(from China)? Of course I will specify from this website.Thank you!
"How much can you remember it?" "Well, don't worry!" "Because the average human memory on visual matters is only 62% accurate..." "Yeah, well, don't worry, I remember all of it." "Really?" "Yeah, well, at least I would, if I could get to my pockets! Took a photograph!"
Amazing! At first, I want to say that I really love your coloration, very soft and nice to look at! Especially the lotus picture, wonderfully done with the shadings and the blurred background Then my respect the picture with Soo Lin and the tea pot, Soo Lin looks just so real O: The whole image is wonderfully drawn, and furthermore, with colour pencils. Phew.
Thank you very much! Coloured pencils are still the technique that I prefer, although I'm not so good with colours. However, I think that soon I will do some other drawing about this amazing BBC series!
Thank you! I had many doubts whether to include that scene or not, but I thought it was important because it emphasizes the trust that is establishing between Sherlock and his assistant. Sorry for my bad English!
You're not a native speaker? I really wouldn't have guessed, your English is better than most of the people in Northern Ireland, and it's our first language- your English really is as brilliant as your drawing
Thank you very much! I'm new here on DA, I'm going to add the list of materials for every work I post However, I used Caran d'Ache coloured pencils on smooth paper. After, I framed the drawing and added the yellow title with Photoshop CS5.
